Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Cordley Solutions collects, why, and the control you have over it under UK data protection law.
Who we are
Cordley Solutions Limited (company number 17195360, registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ) is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at info@cordleysolutions.co.uk or on 07702 186801.
What data we collect
This is a brochure website with two enquiry forms: a general contact form and a supplier enquiry form. When you use either, we collect only what you enter, which may include your name, company, email address, website, the region you supply, your typical minimum order, the categories you supply, and your message. We use those details solely to read and reply to your enquiry.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (for example your IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these to build a profile of you.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the details you send to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to explore a possible working relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, for supplier enquiries, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Analytics and cookies
We do not use Google Analytics or any similar tracking, and the site itself sets no analytics or advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
Our enquiry forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which helps us tell genuine enquiries from automated spam. To do this it collects some technical information about your device and interaction and may set a cookie for security purposes. This use is limited to the two form pages and is necessary to protect the forms from abuse. Google's handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Hosting and processors
The site is hosted in the United Kingdom by 365i Web Hosting, on infrastructure provided by 20i. Enquiries you send are delivered and stored through our hosting provider's email service. Google provides the reCAPTCHA spam protection described above. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under terms that require them to keep it secure.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows from it, and then no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@cordleysolutions.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last reviewed. If we make a significant change, we will update that date and the content here.
